Tonight's Radkey Show Canceled Because Band Is Underage

Unfortunately for fans of the Missouri punk band Radkey, the trio won't be playing at The Urban Lounge tonight. They were scheduled to open for Black Joe Lewis, but since all three members of the band are under 21, they won't be allowed to perform at the 21-and-over venue.

Here's a new batch of tunes for your listening holes, from neo-psych-rock The Warlocks (their first new album in five years), alt-country band Beachwood Sparks, glam-rock/garage-punk trio Cheap Time, singer-songwriter Kevin Morby (who is also the bassist in the bands Woods and The Babies) and Shearwater, an indie-rock outfit that released a collection of covers of songs by artists they've toured with.---

One of the biggest pops that Salt Lake Comic Con had on the local entertainment scene was giving a boost to the local art community, especially those doing comics and pop-art. --- Over a weekend's time, dozens of artists received tons of exposure they normally wouldn't see, which has now pushed the geek community to seek out any and all artists even remotely associated with the genre to find some of the best renditions and unique takes to their favorite characters.

Masculine Style

While most of the fashion in Utah is focused on women's clothing and designs, there's still a hefty niche of men looking for something new in their own style. --- And while there are a few shops in town that can help them out, the percentage of local websites and blogs focused on men's fashion pales in comparison to those dedicated to purses alone.
