As noted earlier this month, the Utah County music scene continues to thrive, and with it come more opportunities for musicians to put out great albums and expand their part of it all. --- One of the studios helping crank out the local music is Audio West, located on the north end of Provo, with one of the fanciest studios you'll find in the entire state.

Judge in marriage case: Public opinion doesn't override rights

An attempt today by the state of Utah to halt any further gay marriages from occurring in Zion was denied by Federal Judge Robert J. Game Night Heroes

As I've talked about before, board gaming in Utah has always been popular, even more so with events like SaltCon making them a bigger deal then normal. --- So, it was only logical that we'd start seeing games produced locally and create a brand-new series of challenges for fans to tackle.

Justin Townes Earle at The State Room

Justin Townes Earle’s show at The State Room on Saturday night—the first I’ve seen him play—was enthralling, so much so that it cemented the Tennessee singer-songwriter’s new status as one of my favorite artists. Not bad for a first impression.---
