Today, Provo’s own Desert Noises premiered their new music video for “Mice in the Kitchen”—from their new album, 27 Ways—via Spin Magazine’s website, no less. It’s a well-deserved honor for the hard-working Americana/rock band, who have been crisscrossing the country on tour pretty much nonstop since they got together a few years ago.

The video was shot in one of the coolest natural locations in Utah, Goblin Valley State Park. And fittingly, since Desert Noises frontman Kyle Henderson described the spot to Spin as “kinda like the Mars of Utah,” the video features a spaceman—complete with spacesuit—exploring the strange rock formations and eventually making contact with the band. The classic Western location also complements Desert Noises' twangy, harmony-filled sound.

Check out the video below, and make sure to catch Desert Noises at the Rooftop Concert Series in Provo tomorrow night, and at The Urban Lounge on Saturday night for their album-release show.
