Dear GYA, I see American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken might actually win a congressional seat in North Carolina, can you imagine what it would be like if a reality star was a politician?! What's next, actors and athletes?! We need real politicians, people who are qualified for the job, like rich senior citizens who own real estate companies and have crazy religious views. Anything happening today better than Clay Aiken? - Kyle Broomer, Park City---

Kyle, Yeah, if Ronald Reagan was here he would put his foot down on actors going into politics. Here's what's up for today:

Rapper and actor Childish Gambino will be at The Complex tonight. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30.

Metalcore band BlessTheFall will be at In The Venue. Silverstein, The Amity Affliction, Secrets and Heartist are also on the bill. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $21.

Local surf rock band Secret Abilities will be at Kilby Court. Bandit and Bombshell Academy are also performing. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6.
