TV Tonight: The Maya Rudolph Show, Warehouse 13

The Maya Rudolph Show (NBC) Special: It’s technically labeled as a “pilot,” but even NBC realizes that no one can make the old-fashioned Variety Show viable as a series in 2014—not even Saturday Night Live MVP Maya Rudolph. It’s fun to watch Rudolph get her Carol Burnett on with a game cast of guests (including Andy Samberg, Fred Armison, Chris Parnell and even a non-SNL-er, Kristen Bell), but don’t expect to see this ever, ever, ever again.
Warehouse 13 (Syfy) Series Finale: So many memories, so many supernatural artifacts, so many bad hair choices. Hit Syfy series Warehouse 13 closes up shop after five seasons tonight because … why? Syfy can just afford to throw away still-popular shows? It’s not like the F/X budget is breaking the bank—just look at this:
