Jennifer, I totally get where your coming from. Questions are the worst. Here's what's happening this weekend starting with Friday's events:
Over at The Complex, the concert scene for the film SLC Punk 2 will be shot and this is your chance to be in the movie! Screeching Weasel, Eight Buck Experiment, Ulteriors, Dwarves and Dog Party are performing. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Rapper Waka Flocka Flame will be at In The Venue tonight. The show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $22.
The Salt Lake Bees will be taking on the Memphis Redbirds tonight at Smith's Ballpark. The game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $10.
Comedian Ryan Hamilton will be at Wiseguys West Valley this evening and Saturday. Both nights will feature two shows, one at 7:30 p.m. and another at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Five time Grammy winning blues man Robert Cray will be at Red Butte. Mavis Staples is also on the bill. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40.
DJ and producer Blockhead will be at Urban Lounge tonight. Chase One 2 and Steezo are also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
The Beatles tribute band Imagine will be at the Sandy Amphitheater. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Country music singer Craig Campbell will be at The Depot. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $23.
It's Stir-Friday over at Zest Kitchen & Bar. DJs Zack and Jace from Indie Disco will be on the decks. The music starts at 9 p.m. There's no cover before 10:30 p.m., $5 after.
Saturday's events:
The South Ogden Days Festival is going down at Friendship Park today at 10 a.m. Admission is free!
Local indie band The Moth and The Flame will be at Velour tonight. The show starts at 8 p.m.
Rapper turned chef Coolio will be at Urban Lounge. DJs Matty Mo and Flash & Flare will open up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.
For a full night of deep house, check out Choice and Bello at Zest Kitchen & Bar. The music starts at 9 p.m. Admission is free before 10:30 p.m., $5 after.
Sunday's events:
The Blues, Brews and BBQ fest will be going down at Snowbasin Resort today. The Congress and The Wheeler Brothers will provide the tunes. The party starts at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free!
The Salt Lake Bees will take on the Nashville Sounds today at 1 p.m. Tickets start at $10.
The Tooele Art Festival will be happening at the Tooele City Park beginning at 10 a.m.
Psych rock band King Khan and The Shrines will be at Urban Lounge. Red Mass is also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16.
