With summer drawing to an end, I'm trying to get in the last days of sipping warm weather wines on the patio. That's where fruity, floral white wines really shine.

One high-value wine that really fits the bill is Yalumba Y Series Viognier ($10.99).

Produced by Australia's oldest family winery - the Hill-Smith family with a 160-plus-year history - this Viognier has prototypical aromas of white flowers, peach, and apricot on the nose, with tropical pineapple and tangerine flavors on the palate.

It's a tasty wine to sip all by itself, but also pairs quite nicely with a big pot of steamed mussels.
