Dear GYA, Everyday Tuesday it's the same thing, man— wake-up, go to work, sit at my desk and carefully comb through UB40 songs until I find the perfect show stopper to perform later on at karaoke night. Right now, I'm going over the extremely complicated rap verse in "Red Red Wine." You know, not a lof of people can spit this verse, "red red wine, you make me feel so grand, I feel a million dollar when you're just in my hand." It's a tough. Any good karaoke options for tonight? - Wayne Tillsfort, Salt Lake City
Wayne, I hear ya man. Right now I'm going through all the When In Rome tracks. Here's a ton of karaoke options for tonight:
- At 8 p.m., Club 90 will be hosting Karaoke with KJ Sauce.
- If you like your karaoke paired with pianos, checkoutr Keys on Main at 8:30 p.m.
- Over in Midvale, Three Alarm Saloon's Taboo Tuesday Karaoke will be going down at 9 p.m.
- Karaoke The Doesn't Suck is happening at The Woodshed tonight at 9 p.m.
- Up in Ogden, Brewskis will be hosting their weekly karaoke this evening starting at 10 p.m.
A few non-karaoke related options for tonight:
City Weekly, True TV and Brewvies will be showing the final season of Sons of Anarchy for free on the big screen tonight. The show starts at 8 p.m.
The Manorlands Project, Stephanie Mabey and Playing Ghosts will be playing a free show at Urban Lounge tonight beginning at 9 p.m.
Metalcore band Attila will be at In The Venue Crown The Empire, Like Moths To Flames and Sworn In are also performing. The show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20.
