Wine Wednesday: A to Z Wine Dinner in Brighton

On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Brighton's Silver Fork Lodge will host a five-course wine pairing dinner featuring the wines of Dundee, Oregon's A to Z Wineworks. 

A to Z is probably best known for its excellent Pinot Noir, but I really also like their Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. 

The A to Z wine dinner is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Dinner without the optional wine pairings is available for $25. 

Here is the tentative menu with wine pairings: 

Herbed baguette with goat cheese, roasted peppers and fresh basil + A to Z Pinot Gris

Poached pear and winter greens with blue cheese, nuts and Champagne vinaigrette + A to Z Chardonnay

Warm spiced winter soup + A to Z Pinot Noir

Duck breast with citrus-Port cherry sauce + Rex Hill Pinot Noir

Flourless chocolate torte + A to Z Rose

If you'd rather not drive home after dinner, Silver Fork Lodge is offering accommodations for wine dinner attendees beginning at $90 per night, plus tax, including breakfast for two.
