Wine Wednesday: Escape to Italy @ Stoneground

There are still a few seats available for tonight's (Wednesday, November 30th) "Escape to Italy" wine pairing dinner at Stoneground Kitchen. The evening will feature special guest Scott Slobin and wines from Leonardo LoCascio Selections.

For over 35 years, Leonardo LoCascio Selections has represented Italian wines of impeccable quality, character and value. Each wine in the collection tells a unique story about the family and region that produced it. A taste through the portfolio is a journey across Italy’s rich spectrum of geography, history, and culture.

The menu and wine pairings for the evening are as follows:

Insalata di pecorino fritto + Argiolas S’elegas

Langostino Piccante w/ friselle, romesco caponata, marcona almond + Tasca Regaleali Le Rosé

Culurgiones w/Potato & mint pasta (like ravioli), lamb gravy + Argiolas Perdera

Falsomagro w/Slowly roasted Sicilian stuffed meat roll + Tasca Lamùri Nero D’avola

Burnt lemon sebadas salted caramel Pistachio gelato + Argiolas Limone Tremontis

The cost per person for the Escape to Italy wine dinner is $95 per person ($50/food and $45/wine).
