We've only got one release show, and it doesn't happen until next week. Yeah, I know: kinda slim pickings as we head into May, but we had a few shows get canceled, so what are you going to do? Before we talk about that show, here's a quick guide to local releases that came out this week.

The one show we have on tap is happening May 2 at Vague Space, as we see the album release show for
Civil Lust. I won't need to say much about them though, because the duo was
featured in this week's City Weekly by Randy Hayward. So go read that, then check them out on Tuesday as the band performs with L.A. Witch, Super 78 and DJ Nix Beat while releasing physical copies of their EP,
Constitutions. Tickets are $5 and the show starts around 8 p.m.
