When one issue of City Weekly isn't enough to contain all of the art, entertainment and activities you can enjoy in one Utah week, it's time to go beyond Essentials.

Ogden's Good Company Theatre presents In the Heights—the pre-Hamilton co-creation of Lin-Manuel Miranda—a musical focusing on the heavily-Latino Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. The show runs Aug. 11-21 at Ogden Amphitheatre (325 E. 25th St.), with performances Thursdays-Saturdays and Mondays at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission/$20 reserved seating; visit goodcotheatre.com for more information.

Colorful airships take to the skies at the annual Sandy Balloon Festival, Aug. 11-12. Friday and Saturday morning balloon launches take place at Storm Mountain Park (11400 S. 1000 East), while the festival grounds Saturday night at South Towne Promenade (173 W. 10000 South), 7:30-10:30 p.m., feature games, inflatables, children's activities, food and the popular "balloon glow."

Queens from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 strut their stuff at the War on the Catwalk, Monday, Aug. 14, 8 p.m. at Capitol Theatre (50 W. 200 South). VIP ticket experiences offer the chance for meet-and-greet photo ops with the queens, while the 2-1/2 hour show features performers including Sasha, Aja, Farrah and Alexis.
