Oquirrh West Project contemporary dance company (pictured) presents its inaugural concert at the Rose Wagner Center (138 W. 300 South), Aug. 25, 5 & 7:30 p.m. Guest performers from the Junior Company are scheduled to join the featured company members. Tickets are $14 general admission.
The Leonard commemorates the one-year anniversary of its
Flight exhibition with the
Family Flight Festival. From Aug. 25-27, enjoy a variety of activities for kids and grown-ups, including paper-rocket-making and experimental aviation displays, a DIY drone workshop, panel conversations on subjects including women in flight, hot air balloon demos and autographs with astronaut Jake Garn.
