Scott Lippitt: Live at Kilby Court video
Back in April, Scott Lippitt and a handful of some incredible local artists released a collaboration album entitled
Me, You, and the Avenues, a beautiful look at the beloved SLC area and those who create there. There was also a live show starring Lippitt to celebrate the release of the album, with several of the collaborators joining the stage. It was a fun show, but if you were unable to make it, Lippitt did us a solid and
posted the show in its entirety in delightful 4K on YouTube, so it seems like you were there when you really weren’t. It’s a nearly hour-long show that delightfully captures the energy of these collaborators and how much fun they had making music together. If you have a case of FOMO or just want to enjoy a good show, check out the
Me, You, and the Avenues release show.
Garage on Beck makes a comeback (again)
Beloved music venue Garage on Beck will be opening back up the first week of June after recovering from a fire last October. This recent fire caused the venue to close down, but luckily, fans of the intimate and cozy bar/venue will be able to head back in and enjoy shows just in time for summer. This is the second time the venue has recovered from a fire, following a similar incident back in 2012. Bands and patrons alike are excited to get back into the venue for some good nights of music. Garage on Beck is hiring, and will likely be looking to book shows in the near future. Keep up to date on their progress
on their Instagram page.
