David Lindes, "Peace With a Lion" & "Jardineros" Guatemalan born singer/songwriter David Lindes is back with two new healing and heartfelt tracks. "Peace With a Lion" is the title track of his upcoming album, and the song is a moving folk ballad, Lindes likens his father’s abandonment to a vicious, crippling attack by a predator, asking with both urgency and bafflement, “How do you make peace with a lion?” Lindes sings. "Jardineros," which means gardener in Spanish, is a warm, acoustic take on lush, Caribbean rhythms and melodies. In it, Lindes uses these verdant sounds to build a safe, beautiful garden for his own children. One where they can live free of fear. “With these songs, I’m really asking one of the biggest questions of my life: Can a life that has taken abuse and abandonment as input still manage to output something different? Something more beautiful? To me, out of sheer need, the answer has to be yes," Lindes said. "Peace With a Lion" and "Jardineros" are out now, and the full album will be out Feb 8.

Eyes of Eva, "Momento Vivere"
Back in November SLC rock band Eyes of Eva released "Momento Mori," a track that they described as "I think it's the next level of Eyes of Eva." As a follow up they've just released "Momento Vivere," which follows the same path of the band taking their sound to the next level. Latin for "remember to live," "Momento Vivere" is a sincere and beautiful track that's well-produced and is dripping in emotionality. Eyes of Eva have always put their all into their music, but this new stuff from them takes it up a notch. The vocals from singer Shawnii Secrest are off the charts here. Paired with calm acoustic guitar and atmospheric at the beginning and swelling to climax, the song builds power and offers a sound that's gothic in nature, similar to bands like Evanescence or Flyleaf.

The Alpines, "Endless Winter" Indie/alt rock band The Alpines have always had a great sound. From their first release "Maybe" back in 2023 to their newest release "Endless Winter." This new single is upbeat, and does a great job of creating a unique sound by pulling elements from different genres. You'll hear sounds reminiscent of Americana, psychedelic, folk, synth and dance. "Endless Winter" is endlessly enjoyable with its impassioned vocals, ripping guitar solos and tasteful synth sounds that carry on throughout. You can feel the passion here from every member of The Alpines. If you want to see it for yourself, the band has also released a video for the song. All of the passion that you hear shows easily as The Alpines perform their newest track. Check out the video and stream "Endless Winter" wherever you listen to music.
