44 Inch Chest
A jilted man (Sexy Beast’s Ray Winstone) kidnaps his wife’s lover, and his buddies suggest violent revenge. When your buddies are Ian McShane (Deadwood) and Tom Wilkinson (RocknRolla), that’s gonna happen.
A hard-luck, hard-livin’ country singer (Jeff Bridges) searches for redemption and hooks up with an odd-looking female journalist (odd-looking Maggie Gyllenhaal). Because female journalists always bone their subjects.
A design-school loser (Kaley Cuoco) is bullied by the popular girl (Megan Fox)—until she inherits the “family” mob business from her uncle! Now, she’s on top and the popular girl is probably dead. Whacked = wacky!
After being murdered, a teenage girl (Saoirse Ronan) watches from heaven as Peter Jackson turns a popular, beloved novel into a half-assed episode of Law & Order: Special Angels Unit with Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz.
Ten years after a teenage girl is murdered (but not watching from heaven), six half-naked college coeds are stalked during a spring-break sleepover by a goon who could be the same killer. Not based on a beloved novel.
