A Helping Handle

Imbibe at Handle Restaurant for Good Causes

At Briar Handly's terrific Park City restaurant, Handle, they're donating portions of the proceeds from a couple of special libations to worthy causes.

Through June 7th, it's Negroni week at Handle. For every Negroni cocktail purchased, a donation will be made to the Utah Rivers Council, a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of Utah’s rivers, sustainable clean water sources and natural ecosystems for both Utah’s people & wildlife.

And for the entire month of June, a donation will be made to Sage Mountain Animal Rescue for every "Sage Mountain" cocktail sold. Sage Mountain Animal Rescue is a 501(c3) non-profit organization that provides rescue facilities, care and advocacy for abandoned, unwanted or abused farm animals. These animals include pigs, cows, chickens, goats and sheep.

And, don't forget that Handle offers $10 burgers in the bar every night from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.

Congrats also to chef Briary Handly who was invited to participate in the year's James Beard Foundation's Celebrity Chef Tour at Riverhorse on Main restaurant, held on June 13th.
