Gluten-Free Fare
Utah-based Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill has added gluten-free food options to its menu and gluten has been removed from all dressings, sauces, meats and certain desserts. “We are listening to our guests and are responding to their needs when it comes to freshness, quality and dietary requirements,” said Sean Collins, Costa Vida chairman and partner. “That’s why we’ve added the new gluten-free menu offerings.”
“This announcement is very exciting for anyone who suffers from Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance,” said Roxanne Weir, mentor from the Utah County Gluten Intolerant Group UC GIG. “This move helps to raise the bar for all restaurant chains nationwide.” May is Celiac Awareness Month throughout the country. Likewise, Park City Pizza Company has added gluten-free pizza, pasta and desserts to its menu. Park City Pizza Company, which has been serving pizza and pasta in the Park City area for more than 26 years, was recently certified by the Gluten Free Institute.
