CWMA 2010
This year’s City Weekly Music Awards culminated in a final showdown Feb. 20 at The Depot (31 S. 400 West) with an incredibly eclectic lineup touching on death metal, psychedelic rock and folk rock. CWMA finalists The Naked Eyes, Bird Eater, and Paul Jacobsen & The Madison Arm performed their hearts out to an enthusiastic crowd, which ultimately crowned The Naked Eyes as the 2010 winners. Congratulations to all of the band participants.

Higher Learning
Jam (751 N. 300 West) recently revamped its lineup to keep up with kids these days. Collegiate Night will take place every Thursday, with DJ Tidy making the whole room bounce. And remember, Jam now serves liquor! Get your cocktail on.

Dirty Nerdy
Club Edge (615 N. 400 West) has a reputation for hosting creative dance nights, and its upcoming “Nerd Party” is no exception. Start brushing up on your anatomy skills for the first in a series of weekly parties beginning Feb. 26 at 9 p.m.
