Danny Masterson: Back Downstairs in Jeans
Park City’s resident TV celebrity and bar owner, Danny Masterson, does double duty overseeing his establishment Downstairs (625 Main, Park City) and spinning on the 1s and 2s. In a recent tweet (@dannymasterson) he announced his return to the tables, claiming he is going to “bring the ruckus” on Saturday, Sept. 10. Join him as he reclaims his moniker, DJ Mom Jeans, and fully rocks his very own spot with plenty of ruckus.
Piper Down: Halfway to
St. Paddy’s
On Friday, Sept. 9, Piper Down (1495 S. State) will do what it does best: Throw a great party and invent a reason to drink. Being halfway to St. Paddy’s Day is no joke and will be another fantastic reason to pretend you’re Irish at our favorite Irish pub. It also coincides with their “kilt night,” so wear your green (or whatever plaid you claim) and belly up to the bar for a shot of Jameson or some stout Guinness.
Lumpy’s: Football Season
Lumpy’s Downtown (145 E. Pierpont Ave.) is a fun sports bar for all the regular reasons, and especially during Monday Night Football, when the establishment busts out some cheap eats and drinks. The rest of the week is packed with activities, too. Karaoke is on Tuesday and Sunday, with live DJs on Friday and Saturday nights. Also, check in with bartender Nasty Nick for his Nasty Special. It’s a concoction of Malibu, 151, peach and apple schnapps, with pineapple Sprite and a float of Chambord. We can’t write the specifics here for you to try at home so you’ll have to take our word for it—it’s delicious. Go try one for yourself.
