SLC Ballet presents a ballet in three acts, based on an episode taken from the famous novel Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes. This comedic ballet follows the adventure of Don Quixote, who goes on a quest to find the love of his dreams, Dulcinea. When he sees Kitri, an innkeeper's daughter, Don Quixote believes he has found his love. Kitri is annoyed with her father, Lorenzo, who disapproves of her boyfriend, Basilio. When the young lovers run away, Lorenzo follows, as Don Quixote also sets off in pursuit.
