Heroes & Villains Exhibit

When: Fri., May 15, 6-9 p.m. 2015
Price: Free
Urban Arts Gallery, in partnership with Salt Lake Comic Con, will present a whimsical art exhibition this May that examines the effects of George Lucas’s sci-fi franchise on Pop Art forty years on; and continues with a look at Heroes & Villains in our imagination and art. The exhibition comes ahead of the annual Salt Lake Comic Con in September and the release of the next Star Wars film in the iconic series later this year.

On Friday, May 15 from 6-9pm and in conjunction of with third Friday’s Salt Lake Gallery Stroll, will be Heroes & Villains, a look at our obsession with the good guys we love, and the bad guys we love to hate. Included will be an artist reception and Heroes & Villains Costume Contest.

The Urban Arts Gallery is located inside the Gateway Mall on the south end under the bridge by the theaters at 137 S Rio Grande St.
