Lake Effect: Scary Gary

It’s always good to see our friends in Happy Valley achieve notoriety, proving that Utah County’s reputation for blandness is ill-deserved.

We’re also glad to see Santaquin has become a destination for Hollywood’s hottest playas. Who knew, for instance, that Gary Coleman—beloved by many as the only kid on Diff’rent Strokes who managed somehow not to rob a convenience store—ended up as a resident of the sleepy burg, previously known only for its fruit stands and the deliciousness of the Santa Queen drive-in’s milkshakes?

Santaquin residents will be disappointed to find their new neighbor may have run afoul of the law: According to an Associated Press story, Coleman was arrested in Provo for disorderly conduct. At press time, details were vague, but there was a car and a woman involved. Possibly some pounding and yelling, too.

{::INSERTAD::} It sounds like some kind of confrontation—either that, or it was party time in Provo. That’s what we’re talkin’ ’bout.
