Hello, my name is Andy. I’m a local artist and I was recently commissioned to design your Pride Issue cover and am a long time City Weekly reader. My work, inspired by pop art, is mostly concerned with queer and gay culture. In general, I gravitate toward typography and simple graphic and figure work. And anything pink. I like art that invokes thought, but is playful and bright enough to digest easily - especially when tackling weighty matters.
