From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. A modern day Romeo and Juliet, the story begins by introducing us to rival neighborhood gangs in New York City, the American Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Two young lovers, Tony and Maria, want nothing more than to to escape their world of hate together. But as honorary members of the race war they reside in, their dream can only end in a familiar tragedy.
